Dreaming of lime gerbils in a cheese sauce

I'm back from MN. it was a good trip. I presented my ethics lecture to two classes. Came out as gay in one of them as part of it. :)

I also presented a talk to the campus ACM chapter. It was nominally about being a system administrator but included some other stuff as a side effect.

In all, I think things went well. I met a few really cool students, got to spend time with Josh and Steven in Mpls and Becky there as well as in Mankato. Becky has a nice house, too bad it's so.... flat there :)

It was also hellishly dry there. All that cold squeezes the moisture out of the air.

My only regret is that I didn't get to spend much time with the really cool students. Ah well, maybe there will be a next time.

Congrats to my friend Khedron who is joining the Rainbow Borg. He starts with Google on Monday. Now I can stop asking him when he starts there. :)
