why I don't think I'll be buying a Palm Pre when they're released
1. "You don't need to have any kind of OS compat. You put your address book & calendar data in the cloud and it syncs to the phone!"
Bullshit. I'm not about to trust "the cloud" with my data. If I can't sync it directly from my laptop it isn't going into the phone.
If my contacts & calendar aren't going into the phone then the phone is worthless.
There's a rumor that they might support sync from a windows box. I'm not about to install windows just so I can sync my phone.
This is the same reason I don't expect to be using an android phone any time soon.
