ctseawa at 11:16pm on 08/02/2006The College of Saint Bunstable is hosting a (pot luck) feast on Saturday. Last year I was the cook in charge. This year I offered use of my kitchen but made it clear a student in the college should take over the rest.
6 students came over to my house this evening to cook two dishes for the feast. It took roughly 3 hours and dirtied most of the large pots in my house (why yes, I do happen to have four 5-quart stock pots, a 16 quart stock pot and a 7 qt risotto, why do you ask?). It was fun and they got to clean up the mess so I'm not all that tired or anything. I do need to start the dishwasher and one pot is soaking but otherwise it's going to be a matter of putting clean things away. Not bad.
It'll be a nice feast. I hope some people come.
