I can't get married because you might stop breeding

I've been brooding about this all day. I am now officially a second class citizen in the state of Washington. Equal rights? Doesn't exist.

The Washington State supine court evidently has 5 morons who think their religion is more important than equal treatment under the law. They show how unbelievably stupid they are by parroting the "if we allow gay marriage then straight people will break up and marry gay" and the "if we allow this people will stop breeding" bullshit the American Taliban has been spouting.

I thought the court's job was to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority - or the religiously depraved, not to force us to live under their fucked up ideas of how their "god" wants it's creatures to live.

What a fucking travesty.

I think we need to send a copy of the Federalist Papers to each justice on the bench. Maybe then we will see what can happen.

Of course, they can't stop us from voting them out (so far anyway).

Sadly, the American Taliban has already announced their intent to work to oust the 4 judges who did side with giving equal rights to all. This is nausiating me.
