While in Nye Beach we went to Arr Place for dinner on Friday night. The music they were playing grabbed me by the gut and just would not let go. It turns out they were playing Tom Waits's Blood Money.
I am now the proud owner of 4 Tom Waits CDs, Blood Money, Alice, The Heart of Saturday Night, and Nighthawks at the Diner. While shopping at Tower's Going Out of Business Sale I also picked up two U2 CDs (Best Of 1980-1990 and Best Of 1990-2000), a Yellowjackets (The Best of The Yellowjackets - the Millennium Collection), and a dual-CD of Pet Shop Boys called Fundamental.
I will have new music to listen to for a while. Yay!
