It's official. Email from mother this morning. The 3.9 acre lot in Baker is mine. It's also all I'm getting, they're cutting me off after this - no further contact will be attempted, I'm out of the trust, etc. I haven't spoken to them in over a year, I don't really want anything more. So why am I so sad now?

and it's more than okay to feel sorrow when people don't understand you (have they ever really understood you?) and don't even bother to make the effort to keep trying. You're worth more than that. Hey, many times I don't understand you, but I never stop trying to figure you out! That's called friendship!
