Today was Seattle Pride. I don't have a lot of energy to relate about it right now because this morning started with a 06:00 wake-up at the end of the sleep study. I'll probably post a summary later. For now, the photos are uploading to the usual place.
Quick Summary:
06:00 wake-up from sleep study, get electrodes removed from my hair and body
06:20 race for home to wash electrode jell out of hair, etc
07:45 on bus to downtown to meet ljtourist for brunch at Red Fin
08:30 at Red Fin, one of 4 occupied tables
09:30 food finally arrives. A bit cold. Not. Happy.
10:04 @ 4th and Lenore to watch parade, get good spots
watch parade, take _lots_ of pictures. (Around 350 between parade & festival.) Much hotness walks by.
? ... end of parade, follow crowd to Seattle Center
Take more pictures. Whimper at all the hot guys who are busy with all the other hot guys.
Frank has a pass so we get a free ride up to the observation deck on the Space Needle. My first time up there. Take more pictures. While there bump into someone I've never met but who's LJ I read (he's a friend of a friend). Say hi and confuse him and his BF greatly.
16:00ish Take first ride on Seattle Monorail. The ride isn't nearly as smooth as I expected. Ends quickly (Frank, for the record, it's $2 each way).
16:10 In the tunnel waiting for the bus, new Light Rail trains come through. More pictures taken.
16:15 Catch the bus home (amazing timing, that bus comes every 30 minutes.)
17:00 Get home, grab 3 bottles of wine and head to pot luck where we eat the goat that had been purchased for cooking-class-that-didn't-happen. (Much other wonderful noms as well.)
22:00ish home, dump pictures into Aperture, export them in iWeb, start upload which will finish ... sometime.
