Dreaming of lime gerbils in a cheese sauce

ljtourist and I went up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival today. After looking at lots and lots of flowers we wandered over to Deception Pass and then on to the town of Anacortes, WA for a bakery run. I took over 300 pictures of this.

After that we returned to Mount Vernon for dinner at the Skaget River Brewery (yummy ribs!). We then hit the outlet mall in Burlington (lame!) and the Prime Outlets at the Tulalup Indian reservation. We were looking for a jacket and slacks for me to wear to my friend's wedding next Saturday but sadly not one of the shops in either place had a jacket even remotely large enough for me. I didn't want a suit, just a nice dinner jacket and slacks I could use for semi-formal events.

Tomorrow I'll probably wind up going to Nordstrum Rack downtown. They might not have what I need either, though. Rochester Big and Tall is the other option but they don't open until noon and I need to be at the Mah Jong meetup by 1pm since I'm the host. Maybe I'll make those runs on Monday, after work. I hope I find something reasonable, I'll feel like a total idiot showing up in my usual "business casual".
